Accreditations & Memberships

We understand that it is important for clients to have confidence that we are working to a recognised level of quality, health, safety, and environmental performance whilst providing services in line with industry best practice. The accreditations outlined below show our commitment to providing safe, efficient and enviromentally aware services.

We have an obligation to ensure their experiences of our services meet their highest expectations.

To achieve this we hold current certification for all operations to ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015 and ISO 45001 having successfully transitioned from OHSAS 18001 in March 2020. The new Business Management System combines all three standards for quality, environmental, and health and safety management as one integrated management system although they still hold their individual accreditations.

ISO 9001 is the internationally recognised standard for quality management of businesses requested by all public sector and large corporate organisations. This accreditations allows us to continually improve the efficiency and quality of our deliverables.

Environmental Management

ISO 14001 sets out the criteria for an environmental management system. The implementation of which guides us to improve resource efficiency, reduce waste and control costs. By using ISO 14001 we can provide assurance to company management and employees as well as external stakeholders that environmental impact is being measured and improved.

ISO 45001 has been heralded as the new international standard sharing best practices for Occupational Health & Safety, designed to be able to address modern day risks better in the future. Aiming to reduce occupational injuries and diseases, as well as promoting and protecting physical and mental health, the the likelihood of accidents and demonstrate we actively manage risks, with the involvement and support standard enables us to promote a safe and healthy working environment. It provides a framework that allows us to reduce of the entire team, whilst also being proactive with legislative compliance and improve overall performance.

The British Standards Institution

Our Management Accreditations are assessed by The British Standards Institution, which is accredited by the United Kingdom Accreditation Service (UKAS). UKAS accreditation provides an assurance of the competence, impartiality and integrity of conformity assessment bodies. A certificate of approval is issued once we achieve the recognised standards, which is valid for three years, subject to satisfactory on-going maintenance of our management systems. Verification is through an audit surveillance programme that is carried out through yearly surveillance visits.

Buyers of products and services throughout the GB rail industry use RSSB RISQS as their supplier qualification service.

RISQS is industry-owned and governed, sponsored by a committee of representatives from across the rail industry. The body provides an open, fair and transparent platform for suppliers to be formally recognised as capable providers of products and services whilst managing the supply chain risk.

Once a company has qualified, annual site and office-based audits are undertaken to ensure the ongoing effective management of stringent railway standards.

In 2019 we achieved Gold Level membership of Constructionline ensuring that the company will give our customers enhanced assurance about safety, quality, and environmental management standards. All Gold members are also assessed for SSIP as the Acclaim team is accredited to assess and award ‘Deemed to Satisfy’ SSIP certificates for health and safety.

Owned and endorsed by the Department for Business, Innovation and Skills, Constructionline gathers and assesses prequalification information to provide procurers with access to over 14,000 fully accredited suppliers free of charge and contractors and consultants with access to over 1700 buyers.

This seal of accreditation gives us the opportunity to provide necessary assurance and enables us to demonstrate our health and safety compliance to potential clients.

Constructive Evaluation holds an Environment Agency waste carrier licence, on a tri-annual renewal basis, to ensure that it can remove waste on sites to the site compound or, for smaller sites, to the office base for safe disposal.

Builder’s Profile is the open-access Common Database service providing compliance and PQQ information to the construction industry.

Our secure Common Database enables subcontractors and suppliers to easily maintain and share information. For main contractors and clients it provides all the information, documents and tools required to manage a supply chain no matter how large or small.
