COVID-19 – Return to work May 2020
In line with the Government’s guidelines our offices were closed and site operations ceased as of 23rd March 2020, whilst core activities continued remotely.
Subsequently we have been monitoring the situation in close conjunction with Government guidelines and advice provided from the Construction Leadership Council (CLC). The new Standard Operating Procedures produced by the CLC provide recommendations for ensuring the workforce is protected whilst also minimising the risk of spread of infection.
In conjunction with the above and positive enquiries from clients, Constructive Evaluation (CE) believe that the climate is now offering us an opportunity to return to operations once again as we enter the month of May.
Of necessity this will be a phased return as we ensure that sites are safe, our operatives are well versed in the new Site Operating Procedures and provided with all additional PPE required. Nevertheless, we will be pleased to discuss any works for programming into the schedule.
CE will be operating under their own Covid-19 Standard Operating Procedures and will expect any subcontractors to adhere to these as well as those provided by a main contractor managing a given site.
Our paramount concern remains with the health and safety of our operatives and CE will retain the right to cease operations should any of the new procedures be breached.
Thank you for your continued support through these unprecedented times and we look forward to working with you again. Stay safe and well.
